The traditional term of "master" plant is somewhat limited to a narrow list of plants, typically only found in the Amazon jungle. However, this label can trivialize the incredible teachings that you can receive from working with a plant as seemingly "simple" as lavender. Yes, you have wise teachers in your backyard just waiting for you to pay attention.
Once you open the door you may even find they all come barging through (perhaps without an invitation) and you're having trouble picking your next favorite plant to work with because they all are calling your name.
